Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ClassifyIt ("Service"), operated by an individual based in Germany. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

ClassifyIt is an AI-assisted customs classification tool that provides Harmonized System (HS) and EU Combined Nomenclature (CN) codes for products based on descriptions and images provided by users.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Free and Pro Plans

The Service is available on two plans:

• Free plan — 10 classifications per month at no cost
• Pro plan — unlimited classifications at €19 per month

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change.

4. Payment and Cancellation

Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Use automated scripts or bots to make bulk requests beyond your plan
• Resell or sublicense the Service without permission
• Submit content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights

6. Accuracy Disclaimer

ClassifyIt uses AI to assist with customs classification. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties that classifications are correct, complete, or suitable for your specific use case. Customs classification is complex and jurisdiction-specific. Always verify results with a qualified professional before submitting official customs declarations.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by ClassifyIt. You retain ownership of any product descriptions or images you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassifyIt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any fines, penalties, or losses resulting from incorrect customs classification.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Germany.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes by email.
